The Power of Sunshine

This photo is testament to the power of the sun to clear jaundice. I learned this from Alyssa because she tells her clients with yellow babies to put them in the sun. It works great but I have never seen it as profound as this (because I stayed in the sun much longer than one would put a newborn in the sun for).

One day at the hospital I went outside and lay in the sun with my shirt lifted as much as is generally acceptable in the main stream on the hospital lawn with new college students and their families walking on the street. The upper part was the color of my skin without sun and the lower was after about 20-30 minutes of sun. I think it is spectacularly amazing.
